Mark Batterson
New York Times best-selling author of The Circle Maker
Lead Pastor of National Community Church
After spending five years in Chicago getting a theological education, Brad Brucker and his wife, Ann, set out to plant a church in Oregon. While they had great success drawing people to Christ, after five years, Brad realized something was wrong - deep, life-transforming devotion to Christ was not sweeping through his congregation as hoped. A personal retreat of solitude up high in the Oregon Cascades began an eight year refining process of searching the scriptures, fasting, prayer and reading books by other church leaders who desired to fulfill the Great Commission, but like Brad, were also somehow missing it. It became a huge passionate and persistent Holy Spirit nag on Brad’s heart.
GROW is the fruit of that refining process. It’s a focused map to guide spiritual seekers and believers to become fully devoted followers of Jesus. GROW meets you and your church where you’re at and shows you how to achieve key milestones along the spiritual journey of discipleship. With GROW, you and your church can experience the life-changing power of being transformed into fruit-bearing disciples of Jesus Christ. Begin the journey and prepare for a level of spiritual growth and maturity you always hoped for!
Brad Brucker was the founding Senior Pastor of Woodhaven Community Church for 16 years. He is currently the Multiply Pastor of Horizon Community Church as well as the founder and president of EPIC Global Missions, an organization deeply committed to planting indigenous-led churches in Africa. Brad received his Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He, his wife Ann and their kids love living in Oregon where they all camp and drink coffee together when they’re not watching baseball games and doing ministry.
